Project Life Week Week 19

With each week, I am loving this style of scraps more and more!  The template for this scrap is available in the post below.

We went ahead with the baby shower for my older son and his wife, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and no one could get out.  Haley, her mom, me and even Uncle Dirk had a blast painting lots of bibs for baby Kylie.

I've used my own kit called "Gobble, Gobble" which is available free at Scrapbook Flair.  Membership is free and allows you to always download the three newest Designer Collections.  So once you are a member you can keep downloading for free the new collections as they are added!!  What a great deal!

Here is a sample scrap from this week's free Template 11-10-14.  I have used papers and elements from my next free kit (the butterflies are the only thing not in the kit) that will be available at Scrapbook Flair for Thanksgiving.  Once again, I started out expecting to create a normal size kits but ended up with another mega kit with well over 100 elements and about 30 papers, plus 5 templates.  I'll make an announcement when it goes public.  As I have mentioned before, you can get a free membership at Scrapbook Flair.  Free memberships let you always download the 3 newest kits/collections.  Each time a new kit/collection is added you can keep downloading them.  You can also join any of the challenges and you can post about 500 scraps on your own homepage.  There are different paid memberships that let you have more scraps on your homepage and download the older kits/collections.

My parents recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.  My brothers and I rented a rustic lodge for all of us to get together and spend the weekend with our parents.  Some of us went horseback riding.  I'm still a little sore, but as my mom said, aches and pains will fade but the memories will last forever.

I used Equinox by G&T Designs for this scrap.

The papers are from my Orange Flower Garden mini kit which is available free here on my blog.  The flowers and other elements (except the art doll) are from my Orange Flower Garden and the blog train for August at Pixel Scrapper called Garden Party.  The art doll is by Xquizart  from her Brolly doll collection at Deviant Scrap.

Here is a sample scrap made with Template 08-24-14 #1.  This is my granddaughter playing on some rock at my parents' house.  I've used my portion of the upcoming September blog train which will be available at Pixel Scrapper by September 1, 2014.  Septembers theme is carnival.  I kept thinking of harvest fairs so my portion is in the warmer tones of the palette.
