The theme for the August blog train at Pixel Scrapper is "Garden Party".  We had an awesome color palette to work with!  Here is my initial contribution to the blog train.  If you go to my full blog I have several FREE add-on kits that coordinate; there is an alpha/numeric/punctuation as well as 5 additional mini kits.  Hope many of you enjoy these.

Fairies Party Here - Free Digital Scrapbook Alpha

On August 1st Pixel Scrapper officially kicks off their monthly blog train.  This month the theme was "Garden Party" and the color palette is shown on the preview.  I've done a kit as well as this alpha/numeric kit, and if you will scroll down a little way on my blog there are 5 color coordinated mini kits for free as well.  Hope all you enjoy everything.

Miss Haley somewhat impatiently waiting for cousins to arrive so they could start setting off fireworks. I used the July collab kit from Pixel Scrapper for the layout.  Find the train list HERE.  Most, if not all of the stops should still be available.  It's an awesome train so check it out.

Free Scrapbooking Template 07-20-14

Here is this week's free page template.  I saw a post on a scrapbook site that said they preferred templates without shadowing, so I have uploaded this one without any shadowing.  As I am a relative newbie to designing, I am learning as I go.

As always this is a full size template and is available in .psd 

It is PU/S4H/S4O, the only thing I ask is to not redistribute this template as is and claim it as your own.

And here is a sample scrap made with the above template.  Yes, that is me and my granddaughter having fun taking silly photos with Photo Booth on my computer.  This particular effect is called appropriately enough, "Bug Eyes".

I used a blog train collab from Ginger Scraps called Meaningful Moments.

Pink Flower Garden

Free Orange Flower Garden - Mini Scrapbook Kit

I will be participating in the August blog train over at Pixel Scrapper; the train stops will be posted and you can gather all the free goodies by August 1st.  Anyway, as always I went way crazy on elements and papers and had to really cut back on what I put in my part.  So, rather than just leave all the extra elements and papers sitting in a file on my computer I thought I would share them with all of you in celebration of my birthday this weekend!  This is the first mini miscellaneous collection.  I will be posting at least one more and most likely two more tomorrow.

Free Scrapbook Template 07-13-14

Another week has come and gone.  I've survived my first week of teaching swim lessons…only 3 more weeks to go!  Today is my birthday, so I hope all of you will help me celebrate by enjoying the freebies I'm going to post this weekend.  First there is this template, and I will be posting a couple of different mixed mini kits.  As I make some of the mini kits and collections for Scrapbook Flair and Pixel Scrapper, I always make waaaaaay too much stuff, so I'll be giving it away over the next couple of days.

Anyway, here is this week's free page template and the example scrap to go with it.  As always the template is full size and available in .psd format.

Free Scrapbook Template 07-06-14

Here is this week's free page template.  I doubt I will get more than this one posted this week because today I start teaching swim lessons for 3 hours after work which means I leave home by about

8:30 a.m. and get home about 9:30 p.m. each day.  Unfortunately, that pretty much wears me out both physically and creatively.  Anyway, I love teaching children to swim and it is well worth the trouble.
